Astral projection is the the art of separating your non-physical body from your physical body. It’s sometimes referred to a soul travelling, when your soul travels outside your body.

Astral Projection isn’t something most people can achieve without the right knowledge and practice, however there are many good books on the subject. One of the best and most respected authors on the subject is Robert Bruce. His first book, “Astral Dynamics” has become a highly acclaimed reference on Astral Projection for beginners and OBE researchers alike and includes very detailed methods. His later book, “Mastering Astral Projection – 90 Day Guide to Out of Body Experience” includes a structured 90 day program designed to teach anyone to Astral Project and to remember your experience. This comprehensive book is a great place to start, as I did.

Once separated from your physical body you can experience knowledge and things beyond your wildest comprehension, it’s a truly amazing thing to achieve. You can travel anywhere in this plane and into other planes / levels of existence. You can communicate with other beings in the various planes, including sometimes spirits who have passed over (have died physically). It proves the existence of life after death and many other things. Since I started Astral Projection, my whole attitude towards life has changed for the better. It’s difficult to describe unless you actually experience it for yourself, then you actually see the proof. It’s an amazing experience, nothing on this Earth can possibly compare.

Some people are frightened to Astral Project as they worry about the unknown, many are concerned that they might not make it back into their own physical body. Firstly, there is evidence that we Astral Project and return successfully every night while we sleep, but we rarely remember the experience as our conscious mind is asleep. The difference with conscious Astral Projection is that our mind is alert and awake, while the body is asleep, this is often achieved by special meditation techniques. To return to the physical body during an Astral Projection, all you need to do is think about your physical body and you will return. Also if anything disturbs your physical body, Eg. An alarm goes off, you will return automatically, in the similar way to when you wake up from a dream. All recognized resources agree that there is no risk of not returning to your physical body, yet this fear is still the biggest milestone to overcome for most people.

If you are sceptical about the existence of Astral Projection, please try to keep an open mind. Just because we can’t see it, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
