Is Schizophrenia Actually Clairvoyance?
I spoke to a companion living in a nearby flat who has been diagnosed as a “Schizophrenic”.
He say he hears voices in his head, as if someone else is talking to him, E.g. another personality. I asked to speak to this voice, he then relayed back and forth my questions and then the answers, allegedly allowing me to communicate with the voice in his head.
I asked for his name, he replied “Michael”. I asked if he was there to help, the answer was, “No”…..”Only joking”, “Of course I’m here to help and to give you happiness”. I wanted to ask more specific questions. Unfortunately other neighbours arrived who weren’t so open minded as me, so we stopped. I will ask further questions when I see him alone again.
He also said that the voice sometimes tells him things he didn’t know and couldn’t have known. Once he said it may have saved his life, he was about to step out in front of a car, the voice shouted at him to watch out. Sometimes it’s apparently sarcastic, but often tells him it cares. It doesn’t seem to be evil, but it’s not an angel either.
He sees the voice as an illness and a burden, that’s what modern society has taught us to believe, look at films like Psycho. He hasn’t learnt to control it and shut it off at will. I mentioned to him that he could be hearing a spirit and this seems to have changed his view dramatically for the better. The sad thing is, if it is clairvoyance, the doctor will soon make him take drugs to block out the ability, with a whole host of other possible side effects.
There are 3 possibilities to what is happening:
- He really has a medical condition call “Schizophrenia” and the voices in his head are caused by problems associated with this condition and it’s effect on the brain.
- He is making the whole thing up and isn’t hearing voices at all.
- He has developed strong Clairvoyant abilities and is hearing a spirits voice, this is misdiagnosed as a medical condition called “Schizophrenia”.

My Opinion
From my experience as a paranormal investigator, in many cases when people hear voices in their head, I believe it really is a spirit person talking to them. Unfortunately many of these people cannot control the spirit voices and constant chattering can adversely affect the mental health of a person, especially if certain spirits are upset, very confused or even evil. Often many spirit voices can be heard by the person at once and it’s difficult for them to decipher which is which. Listening to spirits however be an amazing gift if the person has adequate psychic protection and can control this ability, this ability is known as clairvoyance. I believe some drugs from doctors can block clairvoyance abilities, but can sometimes have other adverse side effects.
