Key Hill Cemetery in Birmingham UK

(Lots of 'Orbs' caught at the cemetery on a clear dry night)
Our new paranormal group, Birmingham Investigators of the Unknown has taken various photographs while on an investigation in Key Hill Cemetery in Birmingham, as far as we know we are the first group to investigate this location, but we could be wrong? We found the location to be extremely active. See the link below for more details and lots of photos:

We will be adding to these photos soon as we've caught some incredible stuff on our second visit to the location. We will also be adding more locations and are in the process of expanding our website.
If you intend to visit the Cemetery at night, ensure you take at least a few people with you with decent lighting. Preferably arrive just before dusk to tour the grounds first. We didn't see anyone but ourselves (excluding spirits), but there's evidence of homeless people visiting the cemetery as there were used needles Etc in the bushes towards the left at the back of the grounds Be warned - safety always comes first.
The Cemetery was opened in 1836 and hasn't been used for burials since the 1950's. For more information on Key Hill Cemetery and it's history - see http://www.friendsofkeyhillcemetery.co.uk (Friends of Key Hill Cemetery).
Also see http://www.birminghamiu.com for our main website - we are looking for new members at the time of writing.

Some people think that spirits are more likely to haunt where they once lived during their life rather than a cemetery where they are buried, but if you think about it, Key Hill Cemetery has lots of history and is dated back from 1836 and who knows what went on there before that. Imagine how many funerals have gone on in this cemetery and think about all the grieving, strong emotions and heart ache from family and friends of the deceased. Lots of people over the years spent time there visiting dead relatives and friends, again very emotional. I cannot prove it, but I’d expect there to be lots of residual energy from this strong emotion, plus some people who spent time there in life may still come back after they are dead and may not necessary be buried there. Also think of other people linked to the location like the people who worked there over the many years or indeed the people who built the catacombs which sadly in recent years have been bricked up due to vandalism and homeless people using them for shelter. Even though there hasn’t been new graves available there since 1952, there’s a society called “Friends of Key Hill Cemetery” who dedicate their time and effect to cleaning up and preserving the location which has been Grade II listed since 1996. When they die, some of these people may continue to visit too. I understand that you cannot prove that ‘orbs’ are linked to ghosts/spirits, but look how many of them are in the photograph above - incidentally, I was there when this photograph was taken. It’s been reduced in size for the Internet, but nothing else has been modified what-so-ever. The original 3264×2448 pixel size photograph and all other photographs on http://www.birminghamiu.com are available on request. We took some photographs here and didn’t get any ‘orbs’ at all, often of exactly the same location short after capturing ‘orbs’. We only get ‘orbs’ in allegedly haunted locations and especially at Key Hill Cemetery where I’ve never seem so many. Most ‘orbs’ all have similar characteristics, they are mainly round with similar texture and fuzzy around the edges (like a ball of energy - but this can’t be proven). I’ve seen ‘orbs’ caught on a video camera in other locations and they can suddenly change direction. I’ve seen ‘orbs’ that have seemed to go partly behind objects, E.g. Partly behind a door. This gives them 3D perspective, showing that there is something actually there.
Can anyone actually come up with a scientific explanation for all this, as come on, all these ‘orbs’ can’t just be dust particles? If not then it’s put down to “paranormal” as it cannot be explaining using conventional science. I’m can’t say it’s ghosts or spirits, but I can say it’s paranormal. I speculate only and cannot prove that these are spirit energies.
When I walked around this Key Hill Cemetery, I felt extremely heavy in certain parts and have even felt like I was being taken. I believe this place is extremely haunted, but remember to take extra care if your visiting as described in my original post.

We revisited Key Hill Cemetery during the day time a couple of days ago at the time of writing and am pleased to say that the used needles Etc. had been cleaned up, although my friend still came across 1 used needle in the top part of the cemetery. It was well camouflaged underneath lots of trigs. He came close to pricking himself accidentally with it when he sat down, so still be warned.

We revisited Key Hill Cemetery again and took more photos, unfortunately we got interrupted by intruders, so we left for our own personal safety. I’m glad we’ve been here and caught so many great photographs and experienced so much. I would like to revisit, but in future we hope to have extra people so we are less vulnerable to attack. This location is amazing for the experiencing the paranormal, but unfortunately it’s close by a rough area.
We have also visited a nearby and better known cemetery called Warstone Lane Cemetery and caught similar photographs. One photo actually included a suspected apparition and is incredible. I’ll be adding an article on this shortly, including the photograph and will add a link below shortly. Unfortunately being nearby to Key Hill Cemetery, the location has similar security risks and again our visit was cut short by intruders.

I have now put a page up about Warstone Lane Cemetery which is nearby, including a photograph of a possible apparition as promised.
