Are you addicted to money and possessions?

23 November, 2008 (08:34) | Uncategorized | By: admin

It’s November 23rd 2008 at time of writing and we are marking almost 1 year from originally drafting PJCNET Paranormal Marketing (It’s about 11 months since we became 100% live). I thought I’d elaborate on my very first post back in December 2007, which was titled, “Astral Projection – Start Seeing Life In a New Perspective“.

I have learnt that money and possessions are an addiction which is fuelled by modern society. Most people want and crave money or possessions. They often crave things that aren’t even really needed to live or enjoy life. Seeing other people with more money and possessions also causes unnecessary competition between people and lots of unnecessary jealousy.

For example, a person may crave for a new car when he or she has a perfectly adequate car already that doesn’t brake down, but he or she still wants a better car and flashier car, especially if he or she sees a friend or neighbour with a new car. This person then goes out of his or her way to get the money or credit to get this car. To do this he or she often has to work hard doing a job for say 5 days a week that he or she often doesn’t even enjoy, just to earn enough money to get this car or to pay off the finance. Finally when the person buys the car, he or she’s addiction is temporarily satisfied as the addiction has been fed. He or she is then happy with the new found possession for a short while until the novelty of the new possession starts to wears off. Now the person sees something else he or she wants and craves instead, often seeing others already with this possession, then the process starts all over again in an endless loop, eventually wasting most of the persons entire life. This person is hardly ever happy with what he or she actually has as most of the time the person is craving for another possession one hasn’t got.

Ask yourself, what are you craving for at the moment and do you really need this to enjoy your life?

Most people need to break this cycle. If more people achieved this, the world would be a much calmer and happier place with peace and love. If you start discovering Spiritualism, Astral Projection and start talking to your spirit guide, you will start seeing life in a new way and will discover that you don’t need all that money and possessions to be happy. Similar can be said from learning Buddhism as Buddhist Monks are very happy living with the most basic of possessions. The difference between the religions I’ve mentioned and other religions, is with Spiritualism and Buddhism, you discover for yourself. If you are part of another religion, you can still practice Spiritualism and / or Buddhism as well. You will see the proof when you develop spiritually. Incidentally, one side effect of learning Astral Projection is to develop your spiritual side.

Maybe you’re in a job you hate just to get more money? Well why not try looking for a job that you enjoy, even if you get a lot less money and have to do without some luxuries? This would be a great start to enable one to break this circle of addiction. Think how much of their life most people are wasting doing a job they hate!

PS: I may talk about making money and saving elsewhere in this website, but I honestly enjoy trying to make money on-line, it’s a hobby. I am very poor and am much happier than when I used to be in a highly paid job. I would love to make a living just from the Internet, not much money, just enough to feed myself and survive without having to do another job I don’t enjoy.

PPS: I will most certainly keep PJCNET going strong for another year and far beyond, many thanks for reading.
