I normally write very scientifically about the paranormal as I’ve been taught, but for this topic I will talk about paranormal existence as I believe it to exist from my personal experiences because what I’m about to talk about hasn’t been scientifically proven as yet.

As a paranormal investigator for BirminghamIU I have discovered that there is an Etheric plane which is parallel to the physical plane on Earth where spirits reside and continue to exist after the death of their physical body. I have also found that when spirits finally leave their physical body after death, most spirits go to the light which sends them on to the next existence. A few spirits that have unfinished business on Earth however turn away from the light to continue their existence in the Etheric plane. This unfinished business could be because of an untimely death which have been particularly traumatic, often these spirits are very confused and as expected very upset to say the least. Sometimes spirits are still here for many other reasons, perhaps to look for someone or to look after a friend or relative, or perhaps they just enjoyed life so much they don’t want to move on. Some spirits are happy to go about their business undisturbed, while others want help and/or want to communicate. Some cause harm and are confused but a small few are truly evil.

There is an ethical question, when if at any time should one send a spirit to the light? (E.g. clear a spirit forever.)

Well in my opinion there are two situations where one should send a spirit to the light / clear a spirit for good:

1) When the spirit wants to go to the light and wants our help getting there.
2) If the spirit is causing trouble to innocent people or spirits and refuses despite repeated attempts at compassion to be reasonable in any way what-so-ever.

Now many people don’t give spirits an adequate chance before they push them to the light. Many spirits are very confused and come across as evil when many aren’t evil at all. One should always offer a spirit compassion, understanding, patience and help if required. If they are doing no harm, they should be left alone unless they want help. If they are doing harm to others, then they should be given plenty of compassion first, allowing them to change. Often a confused spirit can become reasonable after explaining to them the situation and after offering them lots of compassion. Pushing a spirit to the light against their will should be an absolute last resort when everything else fails and they are still causing harm to others on purpose.

Unfortunately there are a few truly evil spirits who will refuse any compassion and will still go out of their way to cause harm to others no matter what, with these spirits and ONLY these is it reasonable to push them to the light using force.
