Resolution & Agreement With Trident Care & Support

21 May, 2009 (17:03) | Uncategorized | By: admin

We are very pleased to have made an agreement with Trident Care & Support to help get services improved for the better for people living in supported accommodation in Birmingham in the UK.

During a meeting with the head of Trident Care & Support in Birmingham, UK, I outlined various concerns about both Trident Care & Support & Trident Housing that are now being dealt with and resolved.

The original article is therefore out of date and has therefore been taken down. I’m glad however that the original article has indirectly helped improve services in supported accommodation and that’s a positive thing.

For people who saw the original post about Trident Housing – things are improving for the better. An outside maintenance company has attended that is paid for by Trident Care & Support who have been working on properties. Support is showing improvements and care & support staff are also attending longer hours. Various things are noticeably changing for the better.

I am now making further complaints to Trident Housing Association as they’re in my personal opinion failing to provide a good service again, although this may not be their fault. Support has in my opinion been dramatically reduced in my personal opinion as it’s now mainly a floating support service which is apparently beyond the control of Trident Care & Support because it’s the policy of the government organisation, Supporting People who fund Trident Care & Support. Just because it’s the policy of government organisations, doesn’t mean it’s the right level of support that should be provided for some vulnerable adults, it’s in my personal opinion a way of cutting back costs even if it’s not Trident Care & Support’s fault. Even with a floating support service, there’s still many things that could be improved in my personal opinion. My original blog, opinion and review that was published here ‘appeared’ to create quite a stir, but unfortunately this ‘appears’ to be wearing off in my personal opinion.

If in my personal opinion, serious issues continue to remain, I will be soon setting up a sister website for people to publicly write their opinions about Trident and perhaps other Housing Associations, this information will then be forwarded to the organisations concerned giving them an opportunity to respond. This site could include praise, comments or complaints. This is without prejudice to Trident Care & Support, Trident Housing or any other organisation (Trident Care & Support is now independent to Trident Housing). My full legal disclaimer always applies.
