The Future Looks VERY Bleak For Trek Pay & Trek Advertising:

Eventually there was meant to be so many Ads on Trek Pay available that people wouldn't be-able to click on all the Ads each day, instead they hoped the database of Ads would be large enough for people to search for what they were interested in so Google Adsense wouldn't have a problem with it, sadly this is far from the truth and even if there was hundreds or even thousands of ads available, I still strongly doubt that Google Adsense and similar ad network would approve of the system. Trek Pay is unfortunately still in pre-launch and there's now only a handful of advertisers to what there used to be around 6 months ago and it's still dwindling rather than increasing as they hoped, because of this it's extremely unlikely that the system will ever fully launch as planned. In fact if the drop in advertising continues, the system will be virtually completely dead within the next 3-6 months. It's now become a very low paying system since there's only a few ads to click on each day, but one only needs $5.50 for a payout which is still achievable over time and from experience they do pay out (it's NOT a scam in other words).

I strongly suspect many people are finally realising that one can be banned from Google Adsense and similar paid advertising networks by advertising on the system using Trek Advertising. Many trek advertising customers will be lucky enough to be formally warned by Google Adsense or similar while being stripped of some of their earnings, while some won't be so lucky and will get an outright ban. This is because Trek Pay offers rewards for people clicking on your ads that are paid for in Trek Advertising directly, this means that most people will be clicking on Ads for the sake of earning credits and they won't be interested in the product or service sold in any way what-so-ever. This makes it very poor value indeed for paid Google advertisers and similar as many people will simply click on the Ad to visit their site before leaving again within a couple of seconds without even bothering to read anything, let alone buy.

Even though being banned is less likely, this can still happen even if you choose a simple pay per visit advertising package on Trek Advertising where you don't directly ask people to click on your adverts, this is because you are still sending traffic to your website in exchange for a reward and most people won't really be interested in your website. This extra traffic will make your website appear more popular than it really is and this affects the cost of advertising on your website.

PLEASE BE WARNED THAT GOOGLE ADSENSE USE EXTREMELY CLEVER TECHNIQUES FOR TRACING BREACHES TO THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS and so do many other similar advertising networks. It's NOT worth the risk with Google Adsense certainly and probably not with similar Ad networks as you will almost certainly end up banned before receiving any payout what-so-ever, especially if you directly pay for clicks on your Ads!

With everything said above the future of Trek Pay and Trek Advertising is looking very bleak unless they completely change the system or pull something very clever out of the bag to save it. It's a great shame as the system started out quite popular and paid reasonably well for a genuine PTC site, sadly they made a massive error by not considering Google's Adsense's and other similar Ad networks reaction to the people advertising using their system.

Will Trek Pay Ever Come Out Of Pre-launch?

TrekPay was supposed to come of of pre-launch many months back, but is still in pre-launch, It's looking doubtful that this will change, but at least they do really pay, even though it's less than in the past. being against the rules of Google Adsense and other similar networks when advertising has to be a big blow to them getting paid advertisers.

Trek Pay & Trek Advertising is Still Going:

Trek Pay and Trek Advertising is still going strong to date, although the payments from Trek Pay are still rather low, they do continue to genuinely pay and the payouts don't appear to be reducing any further. If you want to earn a relatively small amount of money for a lot of easy clicking work, then it's worth joining up. Obviously if you manage to refer members it increases your payout if they remain active. Compared to standard PTC sites, Trek Pay compares well as no genuine PTC site can afford to pay out much and at least they're proven to be genuine.

The future of this service is still questionable since many people who are advertising using Trek Advertising which funds Trek Pay are breaking the terms and conditions of their Advertising network, especially if they pay for hits to their Ads. More people are however simply paying for standard hits instead, which although could still get you banned from Google Adsense and other Ad networks, you're more likely to get away with it for longer.

I've now stopped using Trek Pay after 2 good tests as they're not paying enough to warrant my time and effort. I also believe there's better ways to advertise than Trek Advertising and I certainly won't risk paying for Ad hits again, especially since I was warned by Google Adsense after just using the Trek Advertising service once which I assume was the reason when numerous other people are also being disciplined.

IMPORTANT GOOGLE ADSENSE INFO
PLEASE READ:

I now strongly recommend that you DON'T use Trek Advertising AT ALL with Google Adsense as I've discovered that even using basic hits could lead to "invalid clicks" and an ultimate ban where you stand to lose all your earnings as it's very likely that all Trek Pay traffic will be blacklisted by Google in general.

In fact it's not recommend you advertise your Google Ads website using any Traffic Exchange or program where you get artificial hits, E.g for credits, especially pay per click sites - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! In my opinion Google Adsense's terms and conditions are far too strict in general as one could be banned for numerous reasons and many are not obvious to the average person. Google also impose numerous content restrictions and policies on your website, for some people it can seem that Google has more control over your website content than you the owner does! In fact it "appears" you can be even be banned for someone else's activity or other people's activity that you have little or in some cases absolutely no control over (this isn't 100% confirmed)! I have read hundreds of complaints across the Internet where people have lost their hard earned money and many really don't understand why. I will be writing a full article about this soon. PLEASE WATCH THIS SPACE...

PS: I have been now been warned for "invalid clicks" myself by Google Adsense, it maybe when I tested Trek Advertising very briefly a number of months ago that caused this, but Google certainly won't reveal the real reason to protect their complex anti-cheat system methods, obviously I won't be repeating the test with Google Adsense. I will be looking however for a good alternative Ad network with more lenient and reasonable terms and conditions + policies. Again, PLEASE WATCH THIS SPACE...

Sadly it still doesn't look like Trek Pay / Trek Advertising is going to take off like it was planned as there's not enough adverts to make searching worth while and Google Adsense are likely to have a problem with advertisers. it's a real shame as a system like this deserves to work. I still hope the owner(s) will pull something out of the bag, but it will need a dramatic change.

Thanks again, Tannilisa for your very useful input. It's not good that Google had a problem with only 250 hits brought twice. Also it's a good point that only half of the hits brought using Trek Advertising actually clicked on the Ads, so the Ad clicks aren't totally guaranteed. It appears that if you're using Trek Pay, you get your 3 credits even before clicking on any Ads on a website that your supposed to, hence the system fails here somewhat.
