Introduction:

Firstly I will assume that you understand what a torrent (or bit torrent) is along with torrent trackers, private torrent trackers (or just private trackers), public trackers and upload/download ratios, if you don’t understand these terms, please read mooter’s BitTorrent Guide and firstly click on the Beginners Guide.

You probably already know that many private torrent trackers include some exclusive downloads, plus they’re usually much faster and more reliable than on public trackers. There’s also less chance of being infected with malware (malicious software, E.g. viruses) and the download description is more likely to match the actual download, but you will also know that many of the best private trackers can only be signed up to with an invitation from an existing member unless you’re lucky enough to catch a rare free sign up window. Invitations often remain quite difficult to obtain as each existing member usually only have a limited number of invites available and the person who sends out invitations could be banned themselves if they invite someone who breaches the terms and conditions.

Free open sign-up windows to private trackers could appear at any time without notice, but they could only last for a few hours or even less until they reach the designated number of sign-ups they choose to allow. If you miss a rare opportunity like this, you could have to wait months or even longer for the next one.

An upper limit enforcing a maximum number of members is usually enforced on many popular private torrent trackers because of limited server resources, if they allowed everyone to join who wanted to, many private trackers would become completely saturated and overloaded. How to Join Private Torrent Trackers Without Invites:

The website above also displays masses of popular semi-private torrent trackers that are usually always open to new members along with their ranking, some of these torrent trackers may still close to new sign-ups in future when they’ve reached their target number of users. Many semi-private trackers still have strict terms and conditions similarly to fully private trackers where you could still be banned if you don’t follow them, but they also usually have many of the same advantages.

Method 2:

There’s also a method to check for sign-up windows almost in real time using a freely downloadable application named Torrent Checker 2 which can always run in the background while your PC is on, automatically checking numerous private trackers for open sign ups. How To Get Private Torrent Tracker Invites Totally Free:

1) Join The Torrent Invites Community:
(This method is all above board without any trading!)

If you want genuine free invites to allow you to sign up to some of your most wanted private torrent trackers, then please follow the instructions here, but please be aware that you firstly need to be prepared to put in plenty of time and effort into an exclusive on-line community to gain people’s trust before ultimately reaping any rewards. In other words, you need to work and earn your free torrent invites, but anyone can achieve this if they’re truly committed to becoming a valuable and trusted member of the community. Because the person who invites you is partly responsible for your conduct and because they could in fact be suspended or banned themselves from a private tracker if the people they personally invite break the rules, you must build up trust and recognition to obtain the best invites.

I would like to introduce torrent-invites.com which is a close nit on-line community that shares torrent invites to private trackers freely amongst it’s users. Before quickly attempting to sign up, please remember that it’s not easy to be accepted into the torrent-invites.com community and being accepted for membership is a privilege and NOT a right. Most private trackers expect that you upload at least as much as you download (sometimes more), otherwise you become what is known as a leech where you will often end up ultimately banned, some private trackers are stricter than others regarding your ratio, while a few don’t enforce a ratio at all, but please remember that if no-one seeds (uploads), no-one can download either and the file sharing system will fail. I would expect you to spend an absolute minimum of an hour to apply properly, but it took me a few hours, please don’t cut corner as it honestly won’t work and you will be rejected! If you’re not committed enough to put in plenty of time and effort into your introduction, then unfortunately you’re not showing an initial commitment to the community which means you wouldn’t be suitable as a member.

Once you’ve completed a good in depth introduction, log in regularly to see if there’s been any comments from existing members, if anyone points out any mistakes in your introduction, correct them immediately and be very polite about it at all times no matter what. If you write a very good introduction that sticks to all their rules exactly while answering each question thoroughly and you come across as responsible with your private tracker stats added exactly as instructed showing an acceptable upload / download ratio, you will probably be approved! If you’re not approved and you’re not sure why, you might want to send them a polite email using their contact form in case your application hasn’t been considered before being timed out as occasionally this can happen.

If you join a private tracker through a free invite, you MUST stick to the terms and conditions of the tracker as this can reflect on the person who was kind enough to invite you, if this happened you would soon rightfully find yourself banned from torrent-invites.com to protect other members. MOST OF ALL, NEVER TRADE OR SELL INVITES ANYWHERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES even if it’s outside the torrent-invites.com community as it’s likely to eventually come back on you and probably anyone associated to your account too, this type of foul conduct could ultimately bring torrent-invites.com to it’s knees if it was left to continue and just won’t be tolerated under any circumstances. Being an active member of Torrent-invites.com isn’t just a clever way of trading invites in disguise (which is against the rules of private trackers) as a member chooses to offer free invites and give them to members of their choice for absolutely nothing in return, they could choose only to send a free invite to people they have become friendly with in the community or to just to people who have a good reputation. The system also gives a certain amount of added protection to members by making members work hard to be allowed in higher areas that offer increasingly sought after invites. Even with such a good system, giving away free invites still isn’t totally without risk, but because members are very carefully chosen and because of the very strictly policed rules of the community, the risk of being banned because of someone you’ve invited breaking the terms and conditions are kept to an absolute minimum. If on the unlikely event this did occur, the offending member would of-course be banned from torrent-invites.com immediately after reporting them so they couldn’t offend again.

Finally, I’ve probably made torrent-invites.com appear to be quite a hostile and unfriendly place, well once you’ve become a trusted member it can be completely the opposite. Stick to the rules, respect people and be polite at all times and you will get alone just fine. It’s an excellent system and a great community to be part of.

2) Join Invite Share: (But please read THE STINGER below!)

In my opinion this system isn’t anywhere near as good as torrent-invites.com and only offers invites to a limited number of private trackers, although they are some of the best.

The only big advantage of joining Invite Share over torrent-invites.com is that it’s straight forward to join without any difficult application process, but this can also be a big disadvantage. Without carefully selecting it’s members and without constant policing and very strict rules making members earn reputation to before having access to the best free invites, you’re taking a much bigger risk if you choose to give away free invites because of potentially being punished for the conduct of the people you invite. What’s more, if you do use a free invite, there’s more chance that the member who’s inviting you is breaking the rules which could also lead to future problems. Because of all this I would expect there to be far less free invites available compared to the torrent-invites.com community.

Invite Share is a simple system, to get free private tracker invites you will have to put yourself down on a waiting list, the more invites you share, the higher priority you get on the waiting lists.

THE STINGER! Now in a way Invite Share is a form of trading invites as the more invites you share, the more invites you get, yet trading or selling invites is strictly and explicitly against the terms and conditions of virtually all private torrent trackers! Unlike torrent-invites.com it’s not a close nit community where members choose to give away invites for nothing to other members who have gained their trust or have a good reputation, instead the system gives out the invites available and you don’t get to choose a person who you’ve learned to trust. It’s not policed anywhere near as strictly either, meaning there’s likely to be members here that don’t care about breaking the terms and conditions for their own gain. If you actively use Invite Share, be prepared to be banned from a private tracker or trackers one day, sooner or later! This could occur when a person you’ve effectively invited is banned for breaching the terms and conditions, or if the private tracker in question finds out about this system and considers it to be a way of trading which in my opinion it is!

I’d certainly think twice about using Invite Share, especially if you’re also a member of torrent-invites.com as being banned from a private tracker because of being accused of trading or because of other users associated to yourself breaking the rules could also have adverse repercussions on the good members of torrent-invites.com that are also associated to yourself! This would obviously lead you to a permanent ban from torrent-invites.com as it wouldn’t be fair on the careful loyal members of this community. In short, if you must use both systems, don’t share invites on Invite Share if you’ve joined the particular private tracker initially via an invite from a torrent-invites.com member or vicevera.

3) Join The Pirate Society: (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!)

I have saved the best system until last. The Pirate Society (TPS) is a close nit and highly regulated community which is run by a large team of passionate enthusiasts. The community discusses file sharing, private trackers and also just about anything else. Similarly to Torrent-invites.com you will have to work hard to gain the trust of other members in the community before even thinking about getting any free invites to private trackers. They expect you to get involved, login and contribute regularly while sticking to the rules exactly, if you don’t contribute or even login for ages, expect your account to be removed. Similarly to torrent-invites.com you must stick to the terms and conditions of all private trackers you’re invited to, so not to come back on the person who kindly invited you or the system itself.

To become a member of this exclusive on-line community you will have to go through a vigorous on-line interview with a member of staff who will invite you personally to join, should you succeed. The only way you could possibly avoid this long process would be if you’re lucky enough to receive a privileged invite from an existing member who will have had to earn the right to invite you, plus the person must trust you to respect the community and not to break any of the strict rules as otherwise it could come back on them. I won’t help you with the interview process as otherwise I could be giving people an unfair advantage that would undermine their suitability check, but it may help to be part of some private trackers although it’s not essential as they’re apparently more open to beginners than torrent-invites.com. Answer all the questions honestly and carefully, be very polite throughout. The interview process might be a bit long winded, but it’s necessary to ensure there’s no cheaters or time wasters entering the community and if you’re accepted, you will know that you’re amongst respectable people to start with. I have to say that I’m very impressed by the sheer numbers of dedicated staff that are on-line all the time and that you’re interviewed one on one virtually immediately on request.

As long as you stick to the rules, The Pirate Society can become a very informative, friendly and privileged community to be a part of. It’s well worth becoming part of a community with sensible like minded people who you can become friends with. The Pirate Society is a lot more than just a torrent invite site and it’s certainly my personal favourite.

How To Keep Your Torrent Activities Private:

If you wish to keep your online peer to peer activities private, I suggest you download, install and run a freeware application named Peer Block by Pheonix Labs (formally known as Peer Guardian which is now starting to become obsolete). It works like an extra firewall that blocks all known Spyware, Advertising and Monitoring servers. You can never be 100% protected, but it’s the next best thing. The database of known “bad” servers is updated on a regular basis and it’s the best free application around for achieving this. If you have problems browsing some websites, you might want to enable HTTP in the main control panel, with this disabled, you still have full protection for peer to peer activities, mainly torrents.
