I attended an excellent paranormal weekend at RAF Holmpton. The event was brought with Paranormal Events UK, although it was mainly hosted by UK Shadow Seekers and only one person from Paranormal Events UK attended, although she was very professional.

As an experienced paranormal investigator since my first investigation in 1996, I have to say that UK Shadow Seekers are the most professional paranormal group that host paid public investigations I’ve ever experienced, plus they’re one of the cheapest as they’re 100% non profit meaning they run these events out of pure passion for the paranormal and this fact certainly shows. They only charge enough to cover their expenses which allows them to be-able to afford to investigate well known popular locations. If you want to experience a serious and genuine paranormal investigation along with base line tests, full use of equipment and everything else a real paranormal investigation involves, then I thoroughly recommend them, but don’t expect the investigation to be anything like Most Haunted which incidentally they really don’t like.

UK Shadow Seekers welcome both new and inexperienced members of the public along with knowledgeable people alike, you will be split into small groups accordingly so each group has the right balance of people, each with plenty of experienced and very professional, but friendly enthusiastic staff. Expect lots of encouragement to be personally involved in the paranormal investigation as much as possible, but don’t expect a paranormal history tour of the location before the investigation starts unlike with most other public investigation groups as with any serious professional paranormal investigation, it’s best to know as little as possible about the location you’re investigating to avoid auto suggestion.
