6 Ways A Scam PTC Can Avoid Paying You!

28 February, 2010 (08:30) | Uncategorized | By: admin

Introduction

A scam paid to click (PTC) site like the notorious BigMoneyPTC, RichPTC and many other similar scam sites will hardly ever respond to any correspondence regarding payments or in fact non payments and members are likely to be simply ignored no matter what they do when they find themselves blatantly ripped off and left unpaid. Members could send polite reminders, warnings, legal threats or what-ever they like, but they’re still extremely unlikely to ever respond, yet it will infuriate most members to continue to see the particular scam website on-line, advertising for new unfortunate members to fall for exactly the same nasty scam! Often members will spend many hours clicking on paid Ads over a number of weeks working towards the payment threshold, they could have promoted their affiliate link and might even have paid for premium membership which they’ll eventually discover is completely worthless. Each member who reaches the payment threshold will have worked hard to put a considerable amount of extra income into the pockets of the criminal or criminals that own and run the particular illegal scam site, yet nothing is ever done by authorities to stop this blatant disregard for the law even though it’s in fact fraud and deception that become totally out of control.

Sometimes the so called payment proof on PTC Sites is simply fake and completely made up, but sometimes what can upset ripped off members the most is when they even have the cheek to add their name to the list of payment proof which is advertised on the PTC site after they’ve been in fact been scammed themselves, this can be the final insult and it’s proved impossible to get this false information removed!

What happens when you reach the payment threshold of a scam PTC site?

1) Most commonly the payment is requested and it’s stays in pending indefinitely. The terms and conditions may state that it takes up to for instance 60 working days for a payment to be processed so the member can’t even prove there’s a problem with the payment until after what’s close to 3 months. If the PTC site has optional premium memberships that are paid by Paypal, Alertpay or similar, then it’s conveniently too late for the member to dispute payment after this period has expired. I’ve also known members receive emails stating that payments won’t be processed unless the member continues to use the system on a daily basis even when it’s not stated in the terms and conditions, the member then wastes even more time on the scam system, making the owner even more illegal earnings and the member still isn’t paid a Cent, this can be a blatant kick in the teeth!

2) The member will be promised instant payment by Paypal, Alertpay or similar when initially signing up which falsely makes them believe the system is likely to be genuine, but when they reach the payment threshold as agreed, they’re instead presented with a pathetic excuse explaining that due to abuse and/or fraudulent payment requests, they can no longer pay instantly. The member is then usually treated similarly to section 1 above and then never receives a payment.

3) Sometimes a payment option will never appear at all when the payment threshold is reached. The main system will continue working beyond the payment threshold as if it was never reached in the first place.

4) The payment link will appear, but will conveniently fail every time and obviously it will never ever be repaired. Alternatively the payment link simply won’t link anywhere, so clicking on it won’t have any effect.

5) I’ve known members accounts to be conveniently disabled, suspended or even deleted when they come close to reaching the payment threshold, when they reach the payment threshold or when they request their payment. Sometimes this occurs without any reason what-so-ever and suddenly the member finds they simply can’t log in any more. Alternatively the person receives a notification about suspected abuse or fraudulent activity on their account that’s lead to their account being removed or disabled without payment when their earnings are most certainly 100% legitimate.

6) The member requests payment and everything at first appears to have gone through perfectly, leaving their PTC account debited after the alleged payment. The big problem is the member won’t have really received any payment what-so-ever, they may wait thinking it takes sometime for the payment to show up in their bank account or similar, but it will never ever arrive as it purposely won’t have been processed.

If anyone has experienced another way a scam PTC avoids paying when the payment threshold is reached, please leave a comment.

Don’t Get Scammed Ever Again:

There are literally hundreds of scam PTC sites on-line with new scams appearing on a daily basis, genuine PTC sites can only afford to pay around 1 Cent a click or less, if a PTC site offers $10 or $1 a click, they are certainly a scam!

What’s infuriating is sometimes a scam PTC site will have the nerve to put your details onto their proof of payment page even when they’ve ripped you off.
